JFK Weekly Flight Highlights

The rarest movement of the week was the UAE Air Force Airbus A330-243 MRTT, an extremely uncommon military tanker operation at JFK. Close behind was the Russian Special Flight Detachment Ilyushin Il-96-300PU, one of the rarest state aircraft types seen at the airport. The Ukrainian Air Alliance Antonov An-12BK followed as a rare legacy cargo aircraft that almost never appears in modern JFK traffic. Below that were heavy government and VIP widebodies, including the Bahrain Royal Flight Boeing 747 BBJ and the Kuwait Government Airbus A340 ACJ, both notable but slightly more common than the top-tier military and state aircraft. The Dubai Air Wing Boeing 747-400 and the Saudi Alpha Star Airbus A319 ACJ sit in the mid-tier of rarity, while more standard charter operators like Hi Fly and Chrono Aviation represent the least rare movements of the week.
